Couplings and Flanges
The PILC coupling contains three parts:
- Outer flange tube – made of carbon steel and coated with epoxy powder, used to fix PILC coupling onto host pipes
- Expansion ferrule – made of carbon steel, used to prevent the lining from slipping and abrasion
- Inner pushing tube – made of carbon steel or stainless according to media transferred, used to fasten the liners onto the flange tube
- Size of couplings: Purpose made to your size
Uses
Flanges are recommended to be used for the following:
- To connect host pipes with PILC couplings
- To be used between PILC couplings and transition tubes
- To be used between host pipes and transition tubes
Although it is possible to weld the PILC directly onto the pipe
Features
- The reliable design ensures the liner is locked tightly onto PILC couplings with no leaking
- No loss in water flow because the inside diameter of the inner pushing tubes are the same as that of the liners
- No friction loss at the connecting point of liners and inner pushing tube
- Easy to install
